Defensible Designs Pay It Forward Community Fund: Safer Together

Wildfire doesn’t stop at property lines. That’s why Defensible Designs created the Pay it Forward Community Fund.

A percentage of every project’s profits goes into this fund, which is held separately and used to support homeowners in our area who need defensible space or home-hardening work but can’t afford it — especially fixed-income seniors and others facing financial hardship.

By contributing, you’re not just protecting your own home. You’re helping protect your neighbors, your street, the firefighters and the wider community. Fire safety is stronger when everyone is able to take action.

How it works:

1. Defensible Designs contributes 3% of profits into the fund.

2. Customers and community members can donate any additional amount they wish.

3. Funds are used locally to cover critical wildfire safety work for residents in need.
